Modern Print & Design have just been told that a booklet they designed and printed for the Saundersfoot Chamber of Tourism is to be archived by the National Library Of Wales. The editor of the "Saundersfoot Scene" recently sent the following email to the boys at Modern Print & Design explaining all.
Hi Trevor,
I had a letter a couple of weeks ago from the National Library of Wales about the Saundersfoot Scene. I read the word ‘copyright’ and thought – oh no not more bureaucracy and as we were so busy, did not read it until much later. It turns out however to be a huge compliment as they want all my back copies to go into the National Library archives.
Also they want to archive the website so I am working on this with Michael.
I ran it past Phil, Andrew, Lindsay and Hazel at a brief Ironman meeting and they are all for it so I have contacted the Library and apologised for the delay but explained that August is not the best of times to ask anyone involved in tourism to do anything. The reply came back that they are delighted that we are happy for the Scene to go into the national archive.
Please pass this on to Leo, I am sure he will be very pleased too.
Angela,
Saundersfoot Scene Editor.
