Computer Code Club and Networking Opportunity in Carmarthenshire

Event held on 6th February 2014

Location: University of Wales Trinity Saint David - Carmarthen Campus

Fee: Not Applicable*Subsidised Fee: Free - Fully Funded**

Course Length: 2 Hours

The Code Club is a place where people can come together to learn a new programming language, update their coding skills, or just talk to other like-minded people about coding and development.

There is no formal teaching – instead it is a chance for people to get together and share their knowledge and skills with the group. Our current and past students, employees from local businesses and others within the University are all welcome to attend.

We meet on the first Thursday of every month from 18:00-19:30, in the Teaching and Learning building on the Carmarthen campus. Each evening begins with an invited speaker (see speaker Biog for details), followed by a suggestion of what language to start to coding in and finish with a chance for people to share skills and ideas with the group. Light refreshments will be provided.

The club is BYOD (bring your own device) so please bring along your laptop or Mac book and get involved!
