Mike Hopkins, Director and Principal Consultant of The Development Company has delivered development programmes to the private, public and voluntary sector in the UK and internationally for 15 years.
As a practitioner of diagnostic and psychometric testing, Mike has the unique ability to understand others and adapt his style to gain the commitment of participants and involve everyone, making his courses engaging and result driven.
Mike will be exploring the basic principles of:
Customer Service - Customer service is the service provided to customers before, during and after purchasing and using goods and services. However, good customer service is not easily achieved. It takes time to establish and investment to deliver consistent standards.
Selling - Successful selling requires you showing your customers how your product meets their needs. Highlighting your product's benefits in quantifiable terms is more likely to result in a sale than simply describing its features.
Dealing with Conflict - Conflict is inevitable in business and relationships. How you manage it determines its impact on your company, yourself and your employees. While conflict can be uncomfortable, disruptive and often scary, the benefits of conflict, when handled well, outweigh the moments of discomfort.
