Pembrokeshire businesses are being target by a scam that involves the caller demanding payment for non-existent advertising.
The criminal claims to be from ‘the High Sheriff’s office’ chasing an ‘unpaid debt’ for advertising.
A Pembrokeshire County Council spokesman advised that businesses receiving cold calls of a similar nature should not pay and seek legal advice.
