Case Study – Cinnamon Grove Premium Gin.
When Cinnamon Grove approached our Pembrokehire design studio they did not even have a name for their new gin. However, this was not a problem because of our extensive marketing, brand development and design experience.
After a thorough marketing meeting a strategy was decided upon for their new Gin along with a brand name. One that conjures up tastes and smells that we all like – cinnamon.
The strategy was build a brand that that emphasised the fact that it was a unique hand made product. A gin distilled in Pembrokeshire with water from a 300 year old well. This would then help them sell into the local Pembrokeshire market and attract interest from the tens of thousands of tourists who visit the county each year.
The actual design of the brand was created by our senior graphic designer, Leo. He spent a considerable amount of time researching the artisan gin distilling market to look for design gaps that Cinnamon Grove could fill. It was this that led to the elegant design that you see opposite. It is traditional and yet at the same time has a modern twist to it.
I am please to say that the brand design and product were a great success. Not only did the stockists love the look of the of the bottle and labels but also the wholesale distributors. As they put it, the brand looks much more professional than meany of the artisan gins on the market.
