Once more Pembrokeshires businesses are being targeted by an old VAT registration scam.
Local businesses have been receiving letters that look very similar to the old Inland Revenue communications (same paper, typeface and style etc). In it they request that you register your VAT number to comply with EU regulations. DO NOTHING.
At the very bottom of the registration form it says that by sending the form you agree to pay an annual bill of £797 for the privilege!
