Business Networking Opportunities in Pembrokeshire.

PBN Autumn Business Conference and Networking Event

Event held on 14th November 2013

High speed broadband is coming to Pembrokeshire over the next couple of years and businesses need to be ready to exploit it as soon as it arrives.

The theme of the mornings discussion will be around what you will need to be able to take full advantage of the opportunities and potential new markets that high speed broadband can bring to your business.

One of the speakers is Stephen Penney of Write Media, Roch near Haverfordwest. Write Media is an award winning digital agency offering mobile applications, streaming services, content managed websites and custom built sports analysis systems. Write Media already uses high speed broadband and Steve will tell us how it has revolutionised his business.

The introduction of high speed broadband to the county will also have an impact on broadband coverage and mobile connectivity. Speaker Ed Hunt of BT will be announcing how they plan to roll out the service in Pembrokeshire over the next couple of years and explain what sort of service will be obtainable in different areas of the county.

Michael Groves will talk about the Welsh Government's position, how they see high speed broadband increasing opportunity for Welsh businesses, especially tourism businesses and Peter Williams, also of the Welsh Government, will speak on the practical ways to improve your business using technology.

The roll out of high speed broadband in the county is of vital importance as it pulls Pembrokeshire into the global economy.
