Amour Desires is a local business selling womens lingerie online in the UK and abroad. Until this year they had been using a Wix website. However, this was proving too limiting for them because that platform could not do the things that they wanted. As a result Amour Desires approached our Pembrokeshire website designers to help create a completely new, bespoke website for them.
It was obvious from the beginning that photos would be king on this website. Like all sites selling clothing people want to see what the item looks like before they buy it. After all, would you buy clothing online without knowing exactly what it looks like?
For this reason we designed a very effective gallery system into the shop part of their Pembrokeshire website, that could handle thousands of products. Some of which you can see in the photos on this page.
With so many products it was decided to divide them into 7 logical categories. These range from Socks to Bridalwear. In addition to this may of these 7 categories were subdivided in to further sections.
When a visitor then finds a product that they want to learn more about all they have to do is click on it and they jump to that particular products page. This page features a larger version of the product photo that visitors can hover above to enlarge still further. Along with this photo comes a full product description and all the buttons needed to select size and quantity etc – In short, a full eCommerce ordering system.
