When designing a website for a funeral director it is important to show sensitivity to the people viewing it. The last thing they you want is pictures of happy families and smiling relatives to upset the visitor who has just lost that very thing. This was the underlying principle that our Pembrokeshire web designers took when designing EC Thomas & Sons new website.
The decision was taken to use photos of the EC Thomas’s garden of remembrance in Llanteg combined with floral tributes throughout the website. It is only when you go further into the site that you can see actual pictures of the coffins available. What is more, they are all on the same page to keep then separated from the rest of the site.
The website also features a lot of helpful and useful advice. Advise such as what to do when someone passes away and what procedures should be followed.
A very important part of what a funeral director must provide to a bereaved family is trust, confidence and reassurance. For this reason we featured 3 pages about the people who make up the firm, their premises and after care. This is because the personal nature of what EC Thomas & Son provides is obvious to all. The visitor will want to know who they are dealing with and who will be looking after their loved ones final journey.
