Pembrokeshires Modern Print and Design have just had two new Aluminum composite signs fitted to the front of their studio in Pembroke Dock. The signs were designed by senior graphic designer Leo Ayres, as part of their corporate re branding.
The brief was to create a crisp & bright sign making good use of white space, which none the less gets noticed. The adjacent photo clearly shows you that this was achieved and how well it shows off the new logo.
All to often designers put too much colour into their work and forget that white empty space is just as important. Just think of it like writing a letter. If everything was in bold nothing would stand out. However, if only one or two juicy pieces of news are highlighted, they really stand out.
