PAVS, the Pembrokeshire Association of Volunteer Services, have to use desk top roller banners for their new project – Pembrokeshire Time Bank Network.
Our desk top roller banner printers were delighted to help them with this project. Indeed, the logo you see on them was created from scratch by the designers in our studio to compliment it.
The photo you see opposite shows the English banner at the back standing at its full high and the Welsh desk top banner at half its height. Both are stored in the base unit on a coiled spring. You put them up by pulling them out under tension and fitting a metal pole at the back of them at the top. The spring pulls down against the pole and holds them into position.
Pembrokeshire Time Bank Network is an organisation set up to encourage people to help others in the community. For example, when a volunteer spends an hour helping someone with their garden or shopping, they get a 1 hour voucher to exchange for time in a local sports center or some other benefit.
