Trevor was up in London on Saturday 27 April to see Dame Helen Mirren play the Queen in the West End play, ‘The Audience.’ The very next night she won an Olivier for best female performance, though Trevor claims no credit for this!
Trever went to see this superb play with his brother Owen and a mutual friend, Victoria and it really was worth it. Each scene in the play is set around the Queens weekly Audience with her Prime Minister. The play recreates imagined audiences ranging from Sir Winston Churchill to David Cameron. If you have the chance, go an see it.
