Modern Print have just paid for a further 50 Guava and Mahogany trees to be planted in Tanzania to help reduce there customers carbon footprint. This is part of a project to pay for the planting of a tree for every new customer they have.
Modern Print have been working with Suzani Associates for some time on this scheme to improve the local environment of Nungwi Village on the island of Zanzibar. An island that has experienced massive deforestation over the years
The trees are being planted by the Labayka Development Fund (LDF). This local community group is committed to the sustainable socio-economic development of Nungwi Village. The LDF also supports education and better healthcare for the villagers and is entirely run by the local community.
