Well here it is, the new studio floor has been laid. What is more, the heavy duty tiles used have a 25 year life so we should not have to do it again for a very long time.
The tiles are made of the same material that is used in airports.
Before they could go down the entire floor had to be lined with 5mm thick hardboard to iron out all of the bumps between the old floor boards below. This was stapled into place with a high powered electric stapler.
