Trevor got to meet Guy Masterson the nephew of Richard Burton on Saturday, in Laugharne. Guy was performing an abridged version on his one man show based upon the works of Dylan Thomas, at an event celebrating the centenary of the poets birth. His performance was excellent and the perfect finish to a day dedicated to the life of Dylan Thomas.
Trevor recognised Guy Masterson from a interview he gave about his uncle on a television documentary and introduced himself to Guy after he finished his performance.
Guy told Trevor that it was his Uncle who introduced him to the works of Dylan Thomas whilst he stayed with him one summer at his Swiss villa. Richard Burton had bought a Mini Cooper in the UK and asked Guy to deliver it to him in Switzerland. Talk about the Italian job! It Must have been a wonderful drive.
